Fight was very close, coulda gone either way but considering the beast that Matthysse has proven to be this is a shockingly good performance by Zab, cannot believe he didn't fold as Lucas is the prime typa dude to make you fold if you have a history of doing that when the going gets too rough. Props to Zab for hanging tough in this one!

This wasnt even close to a robbery IMO. Really close fight, wouldnt complain if it had went the other way either.

Zab definately won this fight. 114-113

i laugh when these hatin ass posters like to say this fight was a robbery. i bet half of them never even watched this fight. the figure that since he was "robbed" against Alexander in his hometown(another close fight), the same happened with Judah.

I think if there is a rematch zab could pull out a better win. I think he was shocked at just how hard matthyse hit. Most of matthyse punches were landing short and hiting zab on his right arm. Zab would normally counter the right hand with his own left hand. But he was afraid of getting caught by matthyse left hook. A few times zab stunned him. I think its the shot he will be looking to take advantage of as matthyse likes to lean forward when he throws that right. Zab must let that left hand go more to get his respect and then he might get a late stoppage or UD

Yes, definitely. I scored 114-113 Zab.

i gave the last round to Matthysse, but if you watch again you will see that Matthysse was more aggressive, but Zab landed the best blows.

Thinks Zab 'definitely won the fight'.

Scores it to him by one point.

Definitely won a fight by 1 point, no it couldn't possibly go the other way

No the Alexander fight wasn't a close fight Matthysse completely dominated him.

You have no credibility you just spin propaganda for any black fighter

I scored it 7-5, close fight but with the knock down, Matthysee was a clear winner.

Matthysse would stop him if they fought again, Matthysse fought with the wrong game plan in the first fight but still won IMO. He took Zabs best shot in the fight & smiled at him, if he pressured him like he did Soto, Judy would get stopped late on, Zabs work rate won't be able to keep up with Lucas the second time around.

Round one and two - Judah, lands some good jabs, nothing much from Matthysse and Judah lands a few good power punches in both rounds 20-18 J
Round three - tough one to score because of Judahs uppercut and straight left at the end, but better work from Matthysse throughout and lands some nice body shots 29-28 J
Round four - very even round with not much landing. Lucas had good work to the body, while zab lands a few nice jabs, not as many as compubox suggests. Zab nicks it, but could be scored even 39-37 J
Round five - similar to the last round, but a few flashy straight lefts in the last half a minute sways the round to Judah 49-46 J
Round six - similar to five with Matthysse landing a few more obvious shots rather than vice versa. Could certainly make a case for an even round but I think Lucas edged it 58-56 J
Round seven - good straight left early from Judah and lands a few good jabs. Matthysse trys to flurry a few times but Judah catches and avoids them. 68-65 J
Round eight - Zab getting the best of an exchange and a good straight left counter. Good combos and avoids Matthysse's shots. A lot of jabbing and missing with Zab landing another good straight left, good body work from Matthysse but not enough to win him the round 78-74 J
Round nine - Not much too get excited about. Matthysse much more active than Judah and lands more, whilst neither really landed a notable punch, Lucas nicks it 87-84 J
Round ten - big round for Matthysse with the knockdown 10-8 round and a strong finish could see him win it 95-94 J
Round eleven - Zab's reluctancy to throw allows matthysse to pressure him,
whilst landing some good shots. Judah flurries with about a minute to go but hits the gloves. Another convincing round for Matthysse and levels it up on the scorecards 104-104 M
Round twelve - Matthysse much more active and steals in in the last minute 114-113 Matthysse

  15. Zab won, ring generalship and defense.

Unfortunate match up but a good one. I mean that in you want to see Matthysse develop and you dont want to see zab lose because of his great longevity.
