People talk as if Zab has lost to scrubs. Against a guy closer to his weight, he could be dangerous. He took it to Cotto early on, and actually hurt him and got low-blowed himself. He was doing so-so against a middleweight-heavy Joshua Clottey. Pac at 140 will not be anything close to what these guys did to Judah, who weighs in at 143ish anyway.

Not a good fight for Pac. He would probably win, but not look like "superman" the way he did last weekend against ODLH.

yea, i think it might of been competitive if it was the judah of 2-3 yrs ago, but i expected to bring it to clottey the first 4 rounds at least. clottey is as slow of plodder as margo, and yet judah surprised me he lost those rounds he should of won in a losing effort. like roach says, i think judah might of lost his "trigger" as well. judah crumbles under the first sign of trouble, but manny is a trooper and goes straight in the dragons mouth and i can't see judah beating manny toe to toe. judah looks like damaged goods to me and should hangem up.

I cant believe people here are giving Judah a decent shot here.

Judah has never won in a big fight, and hasnt fought at 140 in a long time now, he could easily be the vicitm of what happened to DLH,Byrd and RJJ.

Judah's only shot is to hope Pacman tries to out box him and becomes very tentative, the slightest pressure on Judah will make him crumble easy.

Manny's priority should be Ricky and Money May.

I'd won't mind seeing Pac-Zab though. :D Still I would rather see Pac-Cotto than Zab.

    Fasten your seat belts folks.

Zab is as good as it gets for the first 5 rounds of any fight. Ask Clottey. Ask Cotto. Ask Floyd. If he ****s around and catches Pac early, before he fades, it could get interesting. Who has Pac fought with that combination of raw ability, speed and power?

And RJJ faded after 2 rounds. Zab always has about 5 or 6 good ones in him. Big difference.

how many free shots is Zab going to get? i mean its good for him but Pac is a PPV star now and nobody is gonna by Pac/Zab....i'd much rather see Pac/Hatton at 140....

I dont see anything wrong with someone taking something other than 'superfights' along the way. This mentality is killing boxing in my opinion. Zab would be a pretty decent opponent for him. Much better than DLH was, for sure. I don't think he should fight only 'superfights' the rest of his career. He beat Oscar. He's popular. He's a hometown (country) Hero. That don't mean he can't fight some not-so-spectacular fights from here on out....

it's too late to turn back now....the money has long ruined the 'sport' of boxing so why change it now? and why would Pac at this point even entertain the idea of fighting Zab right now after just blasting DLH....

Diaz was pretty much a tune up. The DLH fight couldn't have taken much out of him. I say he fight JMM one more time or Nate Campbell. Those would be wars.

I had a feeling this would get brought up after Pac won.

In reality it makes sense. Fighting JMM and/or Hatton are both very tough fights, and you dont want to have Wars back to back. A fight against Judah would be a great fight at 140, Judah may be a gate keeper but he is definitely game and it would be an excellent assessment for Pac.

Assuming he won, he could then face Hatton in summer. Depending on how that goes, in winter he could fight the hypothetical winner of Campbell-JMM.

I dont have a problem with it at all. Considering how easy the fight against DLH was, with Manny taking so little punishment, they could probably fight in late February.
