No chance. Zab has never been quality against bigger opponents outside of journeyman Cosme Rivera. If you can get to him and hit him hard enough he will shell up and back off. Always does. The only chance he has is if Williams falls in and gives up his height, ala Quintana 1. If Williams prepares right and maintains distance there is no way for Zab to win here. He can't win by knockout, he can't get inside without getting scored on and he can't muscle a guy that big.
his hands aren't that much faster.....and what beats speed is a tall long person. P Will is the real deal! Zab can't knock out P Will; can't take his punch; and is definitely in capable of out boxing him for 12 rounds without folding! Doesn't matter though because Clottey is going to knock out Zab in their next fight! Zab is a 2 1/2 to 1 underdog to Clottey! PWill would be atleast a 2 1/2 to 1 favorite over Clottey!
Bigreg have you ever changed an opinion based upon what has happened lately? Things change as do opinions, as certain fights happen opinions and analysis change just as the fighters do. Understand?
Williams takes Judah into deep waters and drowns him ... Judah is a front runner ... he usually gives during the second half of the fight and Paul Williams has a ton of energy takes that high workrate into the championship rounds. Judah's only hope would be to land something early and try and knock Williams out ... but Williams has fought bigger stronger guys and spars against bigger and stronger guys.
Good point, however its well known that Williams doesnt have great stamina either, which is the main reason for my pick here, both tire late in fights, I just think that Zab is the more precise and intelligent fighter which could pay dividends in a fight early
Fitz, Margo was battering the lanky prink late in the fight with not much of a response:deal It was just too late
Cotto beat Judah down for 7 rounds (from the 4th till the 11th when they stopped the fight) Mayweather beat Judah down for 8 straight rounds (after the 4th round Mayweather took over and dominated that whole fight) Baldomir beat Judah down for 5 straight rounds ... he hurt him in the 7th and didn't let up on Judah ... Williams is morer active in the ring and throws more punches than all those I just named ... he'll throw anywhere from 500-1000 punches in a fight and has the endurance to keep it going for 12 rounds ... .
Yeah, but Judah has not fought since you made that statement. So basically, you said Judah can't beat Paulie and now say he can beat Williams without having seen Zab fight. What has changed with Zab where now believe that he can beat Williams where not too long ago you said he was past it and couldn't beat Malignaggi?
Since then both Mallignoggi has fought and so has Williams While it may be easy for you to pretend that Williams-Quintana1 never happened, it did! So imagine the Williams that got handed a thorough beatdown by Quintana fighting Zab Judah on a good nite.....make sense?
Can we just having a sticky thread for "who would win in a fight with Judah" threads? Because the answer is always - the other guy.
No. The post where you said that Zab couldn't beat Malignaggi was on May 18th. This was after Williams had lost to Quinatana and after Paulie looked terrible and won a controversial decision against Ngoudjo. Since that time, Zab hasn't fought, Williams knocked out Quintana and Paulie won a close decision against N'Dou. So if you're telling me that Zab beats Williams now, you would've had to hold that same opinion on May 18th(unless you're telling me that Williams KO'ing Quintana in 1 round proves he would lose to Zab.)Given all of this, on May 18th, your opinion would've been that Zab would beat Williams but only had a 1% chance against Malignaggi. This makes no sense. Just like your pick today makes no sense. Realizm, you are an inconsistent poster. Your picks seem to have very little in terms of logic behind them.
