zab by TKO. judah is hattons worst stylistic match up: southpaw, speed & power. its inevitable that zabs gonna land his strait left or uppercut and wobble ricky. the question is if zab can finish him which he failed to do against cotto. mayweather sr can only do so much for hatton. i dont see his head movement or defense improving enough to avoid zabs early onslaught. zabs way faster, more powerful & accurate than paulie.. but if zab doesnt get him out early i could see judah gasing and hatton stealing the last couple of rounds. *EDIT* a fight @ madison square garden would be bananas!!! Brooklyn's Revenge Baby! Brooklynnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i got hatton by comfortable decision. until zab shows me something different, i have no reason to pick him to win against an elite opponent.
If Judah gets the fight, he gets knocked out, he hasn't even come close to beating a ranked opponent since Floyd.
The same thing's gonna happen to Zab. He's gonna break down mentally once Hatton starts getting to him. He'll get discouraged yet again and get on the defensive for the whole fight, not throwing much. Hatton stops him in the 8th. If only Zab doesn't get discouraged so easily....
Judah would be going crazy with Hatton coming at him. And the way Hatton looked against Paulie, using the left jab, actually having head movement, timing punches and making Paulie miss at times, Judah would be hard pressed to beat Hatton now. Mayweather Sr knows how to execute a gameplan, he is very tactical, and he studies opponents. Ricky would be immensely well prepared for a fight with Judah, and there is a lot to exploit. Hatton is the stronger fighter physically, mentally much tougher, and his fortitude and aggression would trouble Judah more than anything else. If he hurts Judah in the first four rounds, it would be downhill from there. I think he could possibly even stop him late like Cotto did, combination of body and head punches.
This fight would have been interesting back when Judah had decent stock, as of right now his a gate keeper and not worthy of fighting Hatton. Hatton by TKO regardless.
It's possible, though unlikely, that Judah (or Judder as Hatton calls him) could get him out early but the loger the fight goes on the less Judah will punch, the more pressure is put on him the quicker he'll run out of ideas and fold and eventually be stopped.
we're talking about zab judah here. the guy hasn't stopped anybody in years now and hatton has a solid beard, I don't know where that KO stuff is coming from. Zab is done and would just be in for one final payday.
