i've not followed zab judah's career all that closely but he is a boxer that intrigues me. i've seen his fights on you tube against tyszu, mayweather, clottey, and cotto and he looks like a world class fighter capable of giving every opponent shitloads of problems but when it comes to the crunch, he comes up short of what it takes. what are your opinions on judah and why do you think he comes up just short of being top drawer? (please no references to the chicken dance in this thread, thanks)
because although he has amazing speed, which is what makes him look like a top class fighter, he lacks a whole bucketload of other assets. Most importantly ring smarts.
He never backed down from nobody, except perhaps Mosley? :think He always was considered a should've been, but he didn't have great stamina nor the mental toughness that so many other great fighters possess. Goes to show, physical attributes may only take you so far
Lacks focus and concentration. Had all the physical gifts in the world (maybe a slightly questionable chin) but he just fell short when he could have done so much more if he was focused.
very good fighter,,and a very fast fighter maybe even faster than paquaio. gave mayweather alot of trouble and almost had him out of there
His resistance seemed to vary a little bit from time to time. I've got alot of time for him tbh, you're usually guaranteed entertainment one way or another if Zab is involved.
weak meantally, thinks hes a gangster, extremely limited intelligence and ring smarts, pussies out of fights when the going gets tough otherwise - great speed, good power too
Judah had a good career: undisputed WW champion and two runs as a JWW titleholder. He should go back to JWW (his natural weight class) and see what he has left in the tank.
