That's a bit misleading because his style is very, very precise. I've seen him live and this kid is quick, strong and leaves very few openings. He will definitely be a world champ within the next 24 months.
People here seriously overrate Diaz. The guy has very little in the way of a jab, defense, or power. He basically wins rounds by getting inside and ripping off 4 punch combow once or twice a round. I was yelling at Julio to just stay on the outside and box. Had he done that, he would've won. Juan is a good young fighter, but I see too many flaws. Peterson would be too much for Diaz.
Supposedly Zab broke his hand in the fight. We'll see if this is true. Also, supposedly, it was raining for 2/3 of the fight (which was in an outdoor arena with no tarp), and if that's the case, then I could see how it would be difficult to KO someone (can't dig into the floor with your feet to get your lower body into a punch if the floor is wet).
He doesn't, he's more worried about getting a degree than he is about improving. You can already tell what type of fighter he's going to be.
