Ah...good point. It was the lineal Title which is why I never considered Floyd ducking Marg or Cotto. I'm just saying.....He doesn't get much props the win overall even though it was a LINEAL championship.

EM was so shot in 2005 yet he arguably beat current 140 lb champ, Marco Miadana just last month. I swear these "shot" fighters needs someone to tell them not to perform so well.

 

No doubt....but just having the right style or a problematic style for someone like PAC doens't mean you are going to win nor deserve a shot. It's what you do in the game and the name you solidify that will get you those big, career defining fights.

Again...where is Raheem these days? He didn't get a shot at PAC b/c there were FAR better and more capable foes out there that deserved it over him.

Slightly faded Judah is still the fighter that gave Mayweather the MOST competitive fight, but Judah of today isn't that guy. Styles make fights and Judah's is perfect for Mayweather. Unfortunately he just isn't the guy he once was, but is still a handful for some of the fighters on the edge of B- to A-
