I think Zab will WIN. He is a beast at 140. Marquez is top class but is he as good that 140 as with 135?? Hmmmm

 

He won't need to bulk all the way up to 140, though. He just needs to weigh under it. He wore 142 very badly, but still looks terrific weighing just 8-8.5 lbs less.

I could see him coming in about 135/136 for a light welterweight bout with Judah. It isn't like Judah weighing in an extra few pounds heavier is going to be the deciding factor in the fight.

Judah's been looking pretty bad (gift over Matthysse and then pulled that KO win out of his ass while perhaps on his way to losing a decision to Mabuza), and Marquez has been looking ****-hot (with one exception, and it's pretty easily explained).

Again, the few pounds' difference on the official scale won't mean too much as far as the fight itself is concerned. Marquez can effectively weigh in as a lightweight vs. Judah weighing in as a light welterweight.

Judah's still a big underdog.

 

"Beast". He's a good 140-pounder and Marquez is pushing it at 135, imo, having lost a lot in terms of his reaction time and legs with age especially. I don't know what's going to happen but Zab must be the most cautious ****ing "beast" I've ever seen.

 

Money fight for Marquez, Judah is crap, yet for some reason people keep watching him, he's a 30+yr old with the intelligence and maturity of a teenager, maybe the masses relate to that or something.

Marquez whoops him, I'm glad JM gets an easy payday for once, he deserves it. If he was going to resign with GBP, it's a shame he didn't get the payday and nostalgic appeal with Morales.
