How is getting whooped by a 38 year old Mosley and getting a win over a D level fighter deserving ways to fight the "best" welterweight at 150lbs for a vacant 154lb title???
Alright this better not be another April Fools thread. It makes money sense though. I thought this fight would get made. Its a history making big money fight for JMM. That said Judah needs to KO JMM in the first 4 rounds. Which is very unlikely then after that JMM TKOs him in about 9-10 rounds. The weight wont be a problem. Judah is a smaller guy anyways and will probably weigh in at about 148-150 on fight night while JMM will come in at about 142-145. I hope he doesnt try to bulk up since that will take away speed and he will want that against a speedster like Judah. Another interesting note is JMM tends to struggle more with boxers than brawlers. However i dont see Judah having the mentality to deal with JMMs brain. He will get out thought.
Its a good fight, from what I hear Judah looked good in his last fights. Yeah Judah folds but look at his resume and the guys he lost to, it was mostly top guys or much bigger guys. JMM has the brains and the skill but Judah has the size and speed, so its a good matchup.
I really love this fight but expect Marquez to take over in the middle rounds and possibly take him out late, if not he'll win a fairly wide UD. Respect to Zab for coming back and putting himself in a position for a big fight like this. Most didn't give him much of a chance. Certainly making a case for the HOF.
There was an article saying he was given a really good offer from GBP and he would seriously have to think wether he would go independent or stay with GBP because of this offer and this sounds about right actually. Judah is big money and history and im sure after that it will be winner of Bradley-Khan which is another big money fight.
I'm not commenting until I see official news on it. Until then, this is probably another April Fool's day joke.
