Zab Vs Shane will not be rescheduled

I would be very surprised if mayorga can make 147 and not be completly weight drained. I doubt he can make that weight at all. After his little run at 147 he seemed to basically 'throw in the towel' when it came to being competitive and just seemed to fight for paydays so he could live it up. Cant blame the guy though.

 

This sucks. This was the most anticipated match until Cotto-Margarito in late July, and now it's canceled. There's still a lot of questions regarding the possibility of Mayorga-Mosley. 1) Would the fight take place at 147 or a catch weight? 2) Can Mayorga even make 147? 3) What's the point of this match other than money? Mosley is already 36 years old and probably doesn't have many more top fights in him. I can see this fight happening because this would be a good payday for both fighters.
