zab is young, he is younger that PBF isnt he. What is he like 31 or so still.. He still has quite a few more years ahead of him if he wants to keep fighting. Who is at 140 these days, he could probably be champion down there. If he beats hatton which he could. Paulie malanagii and diaz are no threats. Pac isnt going to fight him unless he gets big again. If he beat hatton he could fight JMM. There are a lot of good potential fights for him at 140 and I think he could make that. He isnt effective at 147 and the competition is tougher up there.
i was under the impression that people enjoyed zab. hes not what he should have been but i think hes entertaining
Zab won his Cory Spinks rematch, that was a big fight. You mean he lost the majority of his big fights, which I agree. Zab is inconsistant, that doesn't mean he was no match for the people you mentioned. Cotto- low blowed the **** out of him, and still look at Cotto's face when that fight was over. Tszyu- Was getting dominated until Zab got caught. Don't act like that first round didn't exist. Mayweather- Took Zab into deep waters and exposed stamina issues(NOT BALDOMIR), but before that even Floyd got all he can handle. Floyd didn't have to many answers for Judah early on. He even got dropped and they didn't call the knockdown. Zab atleast touched Floyd, unlike all of Floyd's opponents after that fight. We'll see if Zab is damaged goods during this comeback. I'm rooting for him, and I still think he's gonna eventually win the big one that's eluding him right now. And this is the best time because people have written him off. So keep sleeping on him. All Zab needs is a world title, once he gets that he's gonna be right back in the mix. He doesn't have a problem getting big fights.
So Tyson at his stage right now(retired & over weight) is comparable to Judah? Are you actually serious? You're serious when you say this? This is your honest opinion? This is what you're telling me?
I'm telling u that the people who said Judah was never that good have been proven correct. Nothing to do with Tyson.
Really pay attention to what you just said. "Judah was never that good". If you really believe a prime Judah was never that good then you're not to bright or you just don't know about him. When Judah was coming up, everybody was talking about him. I remember being in the barbershop getting haircuts back in the day when I was a kid and all the dudes would be talking about that kid Judah. He's nice. Zab's name came up quite often when he was a prospect. As an amatuer and when he turned pro. Anyone that knew Boxing was talking about him. How can you say he wasn't that good? He had all the speed in the world, he had power, great reflexes, and still today he's a great athlete. It's not like those physical gifts have abandoned him. Those things are still there. Just because he's taken some L's doesn't mean he was never that good. Prime Zab from an ability stand point was leaps & bounds ahead of alot of guys. And he still has something left to offer right now. You'll see.
I''m all for zab fighting, entertaining as ****. although asking for Berto might be a tall order for a 2009-2010 judah. We all see what happened when Cotto got to him.
u may be right but cotto is alot better than berto and i think the fight would be interesting at least. i would love to see it
The more intelligent amongst us realise it takes more than just speed & explosivenes to be THAT good. The average fan gets carried away when they see that flashy ****. Boxing brain, hear,t chin, concentration etc make a complete elite fighter. He was very very good in some aspects but he had faults. don't get me wrong he still has more to offer than a lot of fighters but with his talets and ability he should be on some Mayweather Pacquiao **** by now.
