McGirt still moving his feet well but getting a bit lazier with the head movement, eating a few Papot straight lefts up top, but fortunately Papot even throwing full-blast can't really do more than mildly stun him, nothing enough to freeze him in his tracks, and McGirt is landing way more with his backfoot jabs and 1-2s.

I just investigated Feldman's scoring history, going back a few years to DeGale vs. Jack, and usually he's...okay. At worst his cards are maybe a round or two excessively wide for the favorite (ie Canelo), but he's never way off kilter like this. 9 rounds for Papot, from a guy with that much high-level judging experience...I just don't get it.

 

This guy is doing the most, and the veterans doing the color guard behind him look none too pleased about the way he's figuratively manhandling the spangled banner in their literal grasp..
