Mwekassa, currently a cruiserweight, wants to fight Deontay Wilder. His current boxing record is 13(12)-3(2)-0, and he managed to knock out Thabiso Mchunu, who used Chambers as a toy earlier this month.

    Any thoughts of this fight?

He beat Mchunu but then Mchunu beat the guy that beat Mwekassa in some sort of south african "Super 8" cruiserweight tournament which Mchunu won.

Yeah, Danie Venter. The guy has the height and reach of a super-heavyweight, which is why it was comical that he shared the ring with Mwekassa and especially Mchunu.

He knocked Mwekassa out, actually - and Mwekassa knocked Mchunu out, and Mchunu knocked out Venter in their rematch after beating him by MD a few years before that super 8 tourney. :!:

They're willing to put their 0 in jeopardy.

Mwekassa is mental but so much fun to watch. Wilder would decapitate him fairly quickly

If you haven't seen it, I'd advise every one to look up his fight with Nagy on youtube.

Nagy himself is on a par with a lot of Wilder's opposition, which is pathetic. :yep

...and before anyone excuses Mwekassa for being stopped by him, being a "heavyweight", know that Nagy is a blown-up former middleweight carrying lots of flab along with middling power and shaky whiskers. (big heart, though...and not without a smidgen of skill...)
