Depends on how you look at him.... In many ways he's better at what he does than champions, and top contenders are at what they do. Durable, defensively sound journeymen are really masters of their craft if you think about it. :good
Good defensive fighter - poor power, great chin, nice defence and skills, can move a bit, has a little bit of speed too. Just never will be a great HW as he doesn't come to put it all the line, Page is a fighter who serves as a 'test' to push fighters and give them rounds and he does that damn well. He would have lasted a few with Wilder no doubt.
We're from the same area I have spar with him several times and he's very frustrating to be in the ring with. He isn't the hardest puncher but he hurt me with once pretty badly with a southpaw right hook over my lazy jab when I was out of gas. I fell in to the ropes and was hurt, I don't get hurt often and have taken some monstrous shots, only been hurt in the ring one other time.
