There was a time when I would have picked every piece of shlt out of this post. Nowadays it seems less effort just to just label you a re**** and move on.
The heat in that ring was over 100 degrees and Vlad is just a big bum. Foreman annihilates this robot and gives his robot parts to the Africans to make toasters. Foreman KO 2
Zaire Foreman was a terrible tactician. The difference between Saunders and Foreman was that Saunders could land on Wlads chin. I can't see Foreman getting a KO before gassing out. Wlad TKO over 9
Foreman did not have bad stamina. He was a heavyweight. He went all out for Ali and couldn't land enough flush shots to take him out. He shot his load. This is the HW division. These guys are too big to find a second wind after throwing bombs.
He wasn't a terrible tactician. He's actually a master stalker and loves to parry well. Problem was that Ali was red hot that night, red night. That was vintage Ali stuff. He outboxed him and then Foreman got tired.
Foreman resorted to stalking and parrying after his 10 year absence. Before that he followed his opponents and hung his hands out in front of him which effectively parried the smaller men he fought. Pre-retirement Foreman was never considered a good boxer by anyone. Even his Fight with Norton the commentators felt like they should mention how Foreman was not a good boxer. Like most fighters who fight long after their physical prime and still find success (pac, Bhop), he had to learn how to box and adjust his style.
He still wasn't a bad technician though. He knew show to cut off the ring and parry punches. Which is what a puncher like him should do. He just couldn't land on Ali because Ali was red hot.
George would have intimidated him like Fury did. Wlad's got the better attributes on paper, but it's not enough when you're faced with a tough, aggressive fighter who doesn't respect you. Wlad would have been far too cautious.
Ali was hitting Foreman with good clean head shots all night. As soon as he went to the ropes, he started landing straight shots to Foreman's head. He landed almost all the clean head shots throughout the fight. Foreman did better body work. Ali fought smart and Foreman fought dumb. He kept getting hit over and over again with straight rights down the middle.
He was exhausted. But I'm assuming that we're transporting George from Zaire before he actually fought Ali. It's pointless picking a version of George from the actual fight, because you've got the heat etc, and a different style match up. The T/S would probably have been better saying a 24/25 year old George to avoid confusion.
