This is an important thing to note. Wlad hasn't done bodywork since before the Saunders KO when he was an aggressive fighter.
I hope this is a joke. A prime version of George would cause havoc today, walking through guys like Wilder etc.
By round 2 the African heat will have drained all the oil from the robot. He used to fighting in flower scented air conditioned room in Germany with.
I can't tell on here anymore. I've just been told that none of the lighter weight fighters should be classed as greater fighters than any HW's, on the grounds that they wouldn't be able to beat them in an actual fight. So guys like Ray Leonard or Floyd can't be rated higher than a HW. I despair.
That's the Dana White UFC mentality there. They used to come on the board yaping about Ronda Rousey every day, how she's beat up Floyd and WWs, but now that she has met a boxer these fair weather clowns have totally turned theirbacks on poor Ronda.
To be honest, Foreman displayed extremely low intelligence in that fight. Older Foreman was a lot wiser. Wladimir probably makes use of his usual tactics and stops Foreman mid-late rounds without much trouble.
foreman ko1 lol at those who think a guy who gets easily koed by journeymen serially lasts more than minutes with the killer of atgs, hofers and champs.
His usual tactics? You think he'll be able to manhandle Foreman round after round? This isn't pudgy little Povetkin. If it gets into a wrestling match, Foreman like Peter could get out of the clinch and put Klitschko on his ass. And while we're at it, let's talk about Peter. People are writing Foreman completely off in this match-up, but ignore the success that Peter had. Who really was just a very poor pressure fighter, possibly the slowest person to step into the ring, with no skill, defense OR stamina. Peter just had a chin and power, and both of those attributes of his are also overrated. McCline put him on his ass twice, and he couldn't stop a fattened up 5'9'' middleweight in 24 rounds. Wlad just doesn't do well against pressure fighters.
Peak Wlad would have way too much for Zaire George. If you could put veteran George's ring IQ in young George's body I'd make that George slight favourite.
If you're going to use Zaire Foreman as an example. Then a fair playing field would be Wlad from his first fight with Brewster as they both essentially gassed out and got KO'd. Who would gass out first between them? Why Wlad of course. Foreman TKO.
I think Foreman the sequel is a tougher match up for Wlad. You needed a good back foot game and had to be light on your feet to avoid that jab and right hand. Wlad isn't elusive enough nor has the stamina to box and move to the blueprint needed to get the win.
