    Absolutely NOT a stinker, squire. The effort was clearly there.

    Not every one of our British title dust ups can be super duper fantastic like they usually are. The envy of the world.


    The live crowd and the close up camera shots showing them was excellent. Doubt there was any disappointment from them.

    I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Chris!.

    Luckily we don't get that severe weather here in the UK very often.

    I hope to God you never do, because I'm not sure a lot of the houses over there could take it. You all didn't have the building codes and regulations to reinforce most of the structures to stand up to damaging winds like we do here, and sometimes even that's not enough.

    About 30 years ago we had storms that managed to lift off flat roofs in my area. All were the exact same design. They had to re-roof every one of them due to shoddy original roof fixings.

    Let's see what the stateside card brings tonight/ tomorrow.


    I'll be eyeing the bouts with a very keen gelling and scrappy awareness.


    I may even write a book about scrappiness and gelling within the sport of boxing.

    Up to 80mph if I recall correctly.

    Hardly anyone went to work the next day as roads were blocked with trees, so were the railways, etc.

    It doesn't happen too often, thankfully.
