Not sure Sammy. I personally reckon thats two more years the National coaches would have tried to mould his style into one that would give him more international amateur success. I think Lenny is a boxer suited perfectly for the pros. I got no problem with Lenny taking his time stepping up, he is young. I just think going over old ground and taking backward steps dont make any sense. And his increasing wildness and overzealous approach might having something to do with the frustration of fighting the same calibre of opponants. Time for a step up and hopefully a Kickett matchup late in the year.
yeah good call.... your probly right... i've only seen that video of him but i was just thinkin at such a young age maybe the extra time woulda help to develop better boxing technique..... but i can understand what your saying perfectly..... i dont rate australia's nationals coaches.... i herd from a credible source that 1 of the dudes in the olympic team was beatin twice by someone else and is still in the team not the guy who beat him.. what kinda **** is that
Spot on. He is obviously a decent fighter who can put punches together well but definetly no world beater. The cream of the crop never have trouble with the calibre of fighters he has faced thus far in his career. Good luck to him though.Should be good seeing him on the end of a Willie Kickett boxing lesson in the future.
