Kurbanov is too much the sort to keep trying a thing which clearly isn't working. (ie jabbing at the head while Bonelli twists against the ropes and cricks his neck to slip it...like, okay, common sense would dictate maybe try something else after giving that a go for a minute and change, yeah...?)

Physically strong yes but not exactly a versatile, high-IQ, think-on-his-toes fighter.

Tischenko carried Ulrich the 8-round distance??? What a useless lump.

 

It took him seven rounds to figure out that working the body and uppercuts might be a good idea...and then he reverted back to throwing combinations around, but not really making a lot of contact with, Ulrich's head in the final frame.

Bonelli down with moments to spare in the 9th. Kurbanov just clubbed him down, was more due to fatigue than anything else.

Kurbanov drops him a few seconds before the bell from a corner action, right hook to the temple and down goes Bonelli. But not really due to to the punch. But obviously he survives. Only few seconds left.

 

Another sloppy KD with a minute left in the fight. Kurbanov goes totally berserk and probably deprives himself of a clean finish with his wildness.
