In the absence of Valuev/Chagaev there is some boxing to be found tonight. One time highly rated prospect and EBU champ Zaurbek Baysangurov tries to get his career back on track after the shock loss to Bundrage, against the decent Italian De Martinis who has only lost in the best European company down at welterweight.

Is Baysangurov the bloke who 'ducked' Jamie Moore?

I thought he kept pulling out due to injury, but it is true he was mandated to fight Moore on a number of occasions.

In his defence Moore only just arrived on the scene and Baysangurov did fight Bundrage who is probably more known.

Zaurbek Baysangurov wins via first round blowout. That's two in a row, look's as if the Chechen is back on track.

He fights Grady Brewer next on the 22nd of Augest.

he kept pulling out every time moore was made mandatory. the first time he suddenly got better and had a fight a few weeks later. he clearly didn't want to fight someone as dangerous as moore, away from home.

moore had beaten michael jones twice - one dominant points win, one stoppage - the same jones who challenged piccirillo a while back. so moore had definitely arrived, not to mention KO of macklin (current british middleweight champ) and domination of that world rated argie
