    Konecny landed about 3 clean punches in round 8, dont know how on earth you can make a case for him in round 8.

    Jabs by Baysangurov, busy. Konečný is jabbing between the forearms and looping a right to the body. Baysangurov is pushed onto the backfoot and trying to check hook Konečný but not pulling the trigger at the proper moment. Konečný keeps his chin tucked and gets inside with several heavy hooks, left and right, climbing from body to head. Baysangurov jabs and spins Konečný away. Clinch. They fight out of it with clubbing shots going both ways, Baysangurov trading freely with the challenger and getting the slight better of it at the end.

    Konečný is floating his jab up between Baysangurov's palms and digging hard with rights to the body. Baysangurov is jabbing whatever he can, be it Konečný's gloves or forehead, really forcing it across with emphasis. Solid jabs, but Konečný is swimming through and really crashing his fists into Baysangurov's body. Konečný is starting to rough him up a bit and impose his physicality on the inside, shouldering him back across the ring and really shredding the body even as Baysangurov lines up jabs to the eyeballs. Big rights to the body by Konečný. Baysangurov tries to punch himself free but Konečný won't give any quarter.
