Konečný is ducking in low, goal posts up, a few Baysangurov jabs bouncing off his thumbs, guard almost split by a Baysangurov right hand on the back foot, and there's a hard jab by Konečný to rock Baysangurov back. Uppercuts on the inside by Konečný, and hooks up top. Baysangurov shoves him out into jabbing range and lets fly. Konečný skips back out of the pocket and is caught flush on the tip of the chin with a lunging left hook from the champion. Konečný gets hooked in the body as he stands pat for Baysangurov, trying to recover.

Round 5

Konečný is yanking his entire body back out of the way of Baysangurov jabs and then pitching himself forward to get off to the body out of a tight crouching guard. Baysangurov isn't working enough, just watching Konečný and jabbing a bit into his gloves. Konečný rips a big hook and gets parried with a jab, but keeps at it and backs Baysangurov up with body shots. Konečný brings the hooks upstairs. Baysangurov drops a right hand to the midsection. Konečný hops in, a bit of subtle side to side movement as he pummels the body of Baysangurov. Konečný keeps jabbing, showing a high, medium and low variety, and pelting the sides of Baysangurov with his hooks. Jabs by Baysangurov, fishing for the challenger's face. Konečný pushes him into a corner, taking a body shot but landing several blasts around the arms. Baysangurov gets an uppercut before the bell.
