i've seen no thread on here so far about whats imo a pretty interesting fight. completely untested but well skilled 22 year old Michael Soro from France travels to the Ukraine to challenge tall and strong but stiff eurobum type Baysangurov for the WBO 154 title on Saturday on the Golovkin-Fuchigami card. Baysangurov has a couple of solid wins over the likes of Rubio and Eromosele Albert but also got KO'd once in 2008 by K9 Bundrage. Soro has stopped some lower level journeymen who are known as solid takers and went 12 rounds once already but has never fought anyone with half a name yet. there're some odds out on this fight Baysangurov to win at -225 and Soro +175. so whats gonna happen ESB? Can Soro showcase his skills against an opponent with a pulse and put out a breakout performance or is he not ready or yet and Baysangurov's size and strength are going to prevail?:think [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGkvmqy0P3Q[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd8y23nR1IU[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDBA7bVVO0c[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el77IXZi6sI[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yedYCG8ADSY[/ame]
Love K9 KO that guy was all over the place Id favor the champ here, interesting fight did Z.B.get the title handed to him or in a vacancy fight i know sergey dzinziruik had the belt forever
He won the title against Brazilian Mike Miranda(well known here as one of the worsts boxers from brazil with a very controversial record). Miranda Quit without even been punched by Baysangurov.
Dzinziruk was stripped for refusing a rematch with Konecny who was his mandatory while Baysangurov was the interim champion and then Baysangurov refused to fight Konecny as well claiming some injury so Konecny fought some late replacement for that interim version and Baysangurov was upgraded to full champion.. alphabet soup at its best. its just some made up paper belt on the line here but i guess the winner has to fight Konecny next
This content is protected Baysangurov 69.7 kg 153.7 lbs Soro 69.8 kg 153.9 lbs more weigh in pics also Golovkin and other fights on the card http://k2ukraine.com/photos/vzveshivanie-pered-turnirom-12-maya-foto/
Rubio knocked Baysangurov down in the first round but lost on the scorecards: 118-108, 118-109, 118-109. Could be a tough one for Soro, although he looks good on tape against mediocre opposition.
soro looks good but has fought nobody not even decent euro journeymen and is travelling to the urkaine i am going to say Baysangurov by dec
