Hlatshwayo and Jackiewicz are decent wins. Sorry you don't watch enough boxing to have heard of them.

Furthermore, Zaveck went into the bout as the CHAMPION. Berto was merely the challenger.

Furthermore, one could easily & correctly argue that it was Berto who was just barely hanging with a now-former titlist for a few rounds before that former titlist's face exploded. ;)

He was wearing Berto down.... Well, it looked that way to me. Berto definitely was stronger, faster and more explosive.... But zaveck was steady, controlled and contolling pace and distance. It was compeitive but I thought zaveck was going to pull it out.

Jackiewicz is a nobody, Hlatchwayo is not that big of a deal. The "title" Zaveck had has no legitimacy as he didn't win it from a championship level fighter. Berto's defenses lend much more credibility to his "titlist" status. As for the fight anyone not biased saw who clearly won the fight. Perhaps you would have preferred Zaveck continued for another round so Berto could finish blinding him?

Trust me, Berto with his lack of defense, would rather face a comparatively lighter punching Zaveck, than fight a guy with one shot power like old man Randall Bailey who is now up to bat.

zaveck deserves a rematch because he was champion and he was stopped, clearly against his will, on cuts. that alone merits a rematch in the honorable sport of boxing. all that aside, I dont think he has the punching power or boxing skills to defeat berto in a return fight.

wooohooo...we are talking before headbutts! The fight was stopped by doctor and coach and that was the right thing to do. See a fight again before the last min of 5th round when the injury happend and you`ll see it was an even match...thats the point im talking about. And since Robert you dont know Zaveck he can fight like he did all 12 rounds and can still speed up a bit and Berto did his best in first 2-3 rounds..then he start to lose stamina..
