Micevic won a very entertaining and hard fought contest over Joel Casey to capture the vacant Aust Light Heavy Title last night. The fight went the full 10 rounds with Micevic controlling most of the action in the first half of the fight and Casey stealing a few later rounds. The tenth round was one of the rounds of the year with both guys landing big blows until Casey landed a straight left to floor Micevic. Micevic bounced straight back on his feet to have Casey in trouble 30 seconds later and would of been floord had he not spat his guard. The crowd rose to their feet and were very vocal and cheered both boys at the final bell.

Hooksy was a mouth piece who couldnt take a punch. If your going to be a smart **** you should be ready to back it up.

Good on this croat for moving on with his life and achieving something.

    Whys that?

Because the media made him out to be??Running the story like he was a legend who was set upon for absolutely no reason by Micevic. When really he was out on the **** with the boys and a young blonde by his side being a mouthy ****..2bad he had a glass jaw...

Mate Micevic was found not guilty so get over it..

A old friend of mine decided to mug a bloke for his wallet 2weeks before the Hooksy incident..The bloke was getting some ice creams for his kids at the local shop.He was bashed to death for nomore then 50bucks by my scumbag former mate and some other mug.

Got a little paragraph in the corner of the local rag.

I know which of the two victims i feel for.Aint hooksy.

Guys we are getting off the track here. In my eyes and the eyes of his fans he is a great boxer who just won an Aussie title and who could one day fight internationally. All that has needed to be written has been written and all the was needed to be said was said. Please lets move on!

    Croatians are the worst sports.:patsch
I have not heard anyone more biased about a fighter from their home country on this forum than u & all your Albanian/kosovan fighters.

thats a ****n low shot, good on zdravko for moving on, good achievement hope he can go on to better and bigger things, he was found not guilty on one of the most publicised cases of that year, you really think he be free if he was that guilty? **** some people are just stupid.... he wasnt the instigator and shouldnt of paid a price for it.

2 RIGHT ...The whole bloody countries media were against him and made it next to impossible for the bloke to get a fair trial..

Though he was found not guilty.

We all obviously didnt hear the full truth like the courts would of recieved. We Just got Biased Cricket loving Aussie papers bull**** stories.

Good on Micevic. He can obviously box...Look forward to seeing him on fox sports soon..

Very poor post mate. Try and think for yourself rather than believe everything that you read in the newspaper and watch on A Current Affair.

    Like the old saying says,

"You cannot reason with someone who arrived to a conclusion without it"

He is the new Aussie champ. No one can take that away from him!

too right the media jump on these stories with famous people in them and flog them to death.same as what happened to the bulldogs they get tried in the media yet the police who have all the facts dont lay any charges then the likes of rebecca wilson insinuate that something happened weekly in their gossip columns and people believe it.
met a girl from coffs in 2006 and asked her about it. there was no **** the boys tag teamd her and threw her in the pool so she made the allegation .Micevic was found not guilty he can pursue what ever career he wants.
