Yeah saw that bowen got to fight devine now. At 14-0 u sud b looking at least at English title level. Oh well bring over another import

If asked the board wud have made the bowen fight for English title and doubled up as a eliminator. They have done that plenty times. Who's he fighting...

He withdrew from a 50 50 fight to box a kid 14 39 5. As for u saying he will fight jupp or smith time will tell. The winner on that fight won't b looking to fight a kid who's only boxed journeymen they will b looking at the British title not a eliminator

 

Terms haven't been agreed between jupp and smith so how's Barrett got the winner.????

 

I dont think he ducked him, ive only seen one of Sam Bowens fights but im pretty confident Zelfa will beat him.

I cant understand the logic behind not taking the fight though, to instead fight a walking punch bag again. Zelfa has just fought again tonight and looked great, but his opponent just backed up the whole fight and probably threw about 5 punches the entire fight. I keep hearing Pat say Zelfa needs more experience, what experience is he gaining at this stage by beating these punch bags ? He is used to the stage and the crowds so it cant be that, and he definitely sint gaining any fight experience against someone who doesnt throw back, guarantee he has harder spars in the gym, so i just dont get it

Really hope to see him in an actual fight soon, i mean they really cant keep feeding him bums any longer, if they insist on doing it though they need someone to actually engage him and make it interesting instead of a foregone conclusion. I get excited to watch the fight only to have all excitement disappear after the first 30 seconds when it becomes evident the opponent has no intention of winning the fight and is just there to run and collect a paycheck.

 

The english title is the next step.from the level Barrett been boxing at. Bowen is untested but unbeaten fighter.. the board made the fight for the English title. The winner wudnt b far off a British title shot. Surely it's a duck. Only way it isn't is if he had a bigger incentive fight. ( with both commonwealth and British title tied up he can't have.)

I dont believe he ducked Bowen though as i think Zelfa would handle Bowen, and im sure Zelfa will believe that too, a duck implies avoiding someone because they are scared they will lose ? So i personally wouldnt say it was a duck

It is starting to look bad now though how he keeps beating bum after bum
