Belting fight, both fighters still recovering from surprise defeats early on in their careers. Fair play to them for risking it again.
Great fight for the fans Now have 3 excellent fights on that card Metcalf Vs Welborn will be a barm burner
Some of Warren's matchmaking has been **** lately, but he is really picking it up lately. Would favour Barrett to win reasonaby comfortably. Don't rate Woodstock, but he does seem to provide good fights
I've heard the same. I went to a show the other week at Oldham and zelfa was on it. I heard it there from one of the lads that was doing the live stream, John I forgot his surname, he told me.
This card is looking good. Is there a chance they're adding quality fights onto it to justify changing it to a PPV event doubled up with the Tyson Fury fight later that night? Maybe I'm just being cynical and too used to most good cards being PPV these days.
Yes I understand, it does get a bit suspicious when the cards are good ha. Might just be a case of Frank taking note that Eddie is concentrating more on his DAZN deal and thus the USA cards and seeing it as an opportunity to pull back some of the ground he's forfeited in recent years
I think there’s something in it with the PPV angle and I thought that might be the case when the fight was confirmed. I think the purses for Warrington and Galahad are over 1m which is a huge amount for a non PPV show and clearly Warren didn’t want the fight as he’s already told us. Hopefully, we’re wrong and it stays standard BT and they just stick Fury on PPV (which I Im assuming they have to, but I’m not paying for it as the fights holds no interest for me).
Very good fight , Zelfa been very inactive through injury but I still think he will be too good for Woodstock, should be a cracker!
I think Zelfa is overrated. He lost to Ronnie Clark in a close fight and Clark is British level at best. He looks good but when it comes down to it he isn't even proven at British level yet. He is young though and seems dedicated, so be interesting to see how he progresses in time. Still think he beats Woodstock, but will be a decent fight I reckon. I look forward to it.
