    Diastrous match-up for Zepeda.

He'll never get Taylor anyway, won't happen. No time soon anyway.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who'd be rooting for Zepeda, although I rate him a solid underdog too.

I wouldn't rule out Zepeda he is getting more experience and can seriously bang

taylor would be a big favourite, but iI wouldn't rule out Zepeda catching him with a shot

Taylor's resources should win him a boxing match by a 117-111 to 115-113 margin. But he likes to get involved. Chon can crack a bit and isn't a dummy. It's an interesting fight I'd have to think a little about.

Rougarou, Baranchyk, JCR, Khongsong (granted it was only a round and he only caught him once IIRC but even Taylor said he's the hardest puncher he's fought), and even Scarlett O'Hara can all crack very hard and Taylor has never been down. Sure Zepeda might be slicker and more savvy than them when it comes to the boxing game but, like Usyk and Loma, Taylor has fought a lot of legit bangers in his 18 fights, whereas, conversely, some of their fellow P4P top 10 ranked contemporaries have barely fought any in 25 + fights or twice the amount of fights they have.

Taylor's chin is proven and he can crack hard himself so whilst obviously possible, as it is with any fighter, all this talk of him getting clipped is wishful thinking. Zepeda has been down multiple times so let's not conveniently ignore that like many did before the JCR, who had also previously been dropped, fight.

Zepeda's very good and I'm a fan of his, but when rival tribes encroach upon your territory the mindset changes and the warrior mentality kicks in. The only time he stepped up to Brit Level he took an L. I don't care if it was on an injury or not the cold, harsh sobering truth is his body was incapable of the withstanding the rigors of competing at Brit Level and if your body isn't capable of hanging at Terry Flanagan Brit Level then it sure as hell isn't capable of hanging at Josh Taylor Brit Level.

Go ask Khongsong's ruptured spleen and broken ribs if you don't believe me. The guy can punch holes in castle walls

But when he stepped up to Brit Level he got euthanized in under a round

Like I told you guys before, a 7-0 Taylor bashed up both Shawn Porter and Ugas in the gym, punching the head off the former and dropping the later and sending him to the hospital with a injured jaw.

Given the rumours of Taylor going up to 147 after Catterall it's unlikely to happen, unless Chon also goes up.

The way Chon struggled against Lundy it's hard to see how he could get any change out of Taylor, but the very best Zepeda against a Taylor having an off night could be very interesting given how Taylor can get dragged into a dog fight at times.

I think Taylor wins a tough fight and I really like both so this is hard for me to say.

Zepeda has only been put down in one fight and he never seemed that badly hurt by any of the knockdowns. He's got a good chin for sure.

Yeah I know and I'm not suggesting he doesn't have a good chin. My point is when people, as many did before the JCR fight, act like Taylor doesn't have a damned good chin himself and that he's the one who is more likely to get dropped or stopped even though it has no basis in reality whatsoever.
