I'd reckon Taylor has the better chin and likely the better power too. Lots of people don't realise how good he is in those departments.
I have Taylor wining by points but Zepeda is a live dog. I would love to see it cause Zepeda earned the shot but don’t think it will happen cause I see Taylor moving up after his next title defense. TAYLOR has nothing left to prove at 140. If he makes wave at 147 there are some huge money fights to be made.
Yeah some act like Taylor isn't a big puncher too but he's dropped everyone he's fought since he moved up to the world level other than Rougarou and even he admits Taylor hits very hard ''Josh Taylor is a very big puncher and I took his punches like it was nothing''
Postol hurt him a bit but I think that was one of those strange anomalies. The iron-jawed Henry Wharton ate bombs of Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank and Robin Reid but the only person to ever drop him was Vincenzo Nardiello
Rougarou recognises a real one, he is one himself after all. Both have great chins and power. They're perfect foils for each other really, I like both immensely.
Taylor's power is deceptive, he's not a featherfisted guy and his punch will get the respect of all but the most granite-chinned of fighters, but Zepeda definitely hits harder (not that hitting harder automatically amounts to winning a fight).
