Good luck to Zerafa. Should be a great experience. But it will be a tough 12 rounds against the hard punching Russian. Don't think the domestic level Aussie can overcome the Northern Hemisphere curse.
x 3 In last couple of fights he fought better. Unlike in the past where he tended to go long....leaving himself wide open to counter left.
AusBoxing reports that Zerafa has signed to fight Hungarian middle Lajos Mark Nagy 18-0 for the WBO Youth Middle title in Russia 24/10/14. All Nagy's opponents so far have very modest records. A more realistic opponent than Magomedov.
We have just been informed by Peter Maniatis who set up the fight the confirmed opponent is Arif Magomedov
The scorecards didn't do Zerafa justice. He put in a very good performance against the higher ranked Russian. Looked a much improved fighter with better footwork and mobility and good conditioning. Both fighters scored with some big shots and took them well. Well done Michael. Full fight on You Tube.
