Zhang accepts to fight the Beast Hrgovic

Hell of a fight! Hrgovich is good but has a suspect chin, and Zhang has his flaws as well. All i know is someone is going to get stopped in this one.

 

Zhang is washed up.

 

I don't think Hrgovic will be able to take the Big Bang's power shots

 

I'll hold my hands up to being partially responsible there. On here anyway. Back in January when Ortiz and Parker were rejecting the fight. The IBF had yet to release their December rankings, but Box.live seemingly had updated IBF rankings with Hrgovic at #2 for December. Based on that Hrgovic was entitled to 75%.

Then a week or so later, the IBF released the official rankings for December, and #1 was vacant, Ortiz was at #2 and Hrgovic was at #3. Which entitled Ortiz to 75% if he fought someone below him, but entitled Hrgovic to 60% if he fought someone below him.

 

Still can't believe this fight is for a mandatory spot. Hrgovic best win? Molina, who would probably lose to Jake Paul.

 

How do you think they get good enough to beat up all those people they come across? Years of pain and sweat. They take easier fights because boxing is a career for them.

 

What else is the IBF supposed to do?

 

Not give Hrgovic more than he deserves too soon, and make the title eliminator between two fighters who are actually proven?

What has Hrgovic done to deserve to be involved in a title eliminator?

His best opponent was ****ing molina who got whooped by Babic. So basically Hrgovic has smacked a few bums and now gets to potentially challenge for a title?

What me and a lot of people are saying is that hrgovic should have had to fight someone of note before being part of a title eliminator.

He should have had to work his way up the ranks. He's not done that.

 

Zhang seems to have the biggest b4lls In the divison. Good man.

If Ortiz or Parker stepped up to the plate and Hrgovic won he would be just as proven as Ortiz and Stiverne were when they challenged for a title. Not Hrgovics fault.

 

Good point, but that's more a reflection of how Ortiz and Stiverne didn't deserve their shots, not a justification of Hrgovic's shot.

 

I absolutely agree that Hrgovic should have had at least one better opponent before the title eliminator, Zhang is a very dangerous and powerful opponent and it will be a difficult fight, I would not write him off just like that...

 

Yeah but it's pretty hard when nobody wants to fight him.
