I saw it too. Zhang looked like he needed a tank of oxygen down the stretch :drooling:

It's expectations thinking - then add some bias and you can reason anything. Most thought Filip would win in a wide decision or maybe stop ZZ. It ends up being a competitive fight, and thus many "reason" a draw or Filip lost. This type of illogic is common in sports forums.

Same type of "reasoning" for Fury-Ngannou. On the other hand AJ generally exceeded expectations vs. Francis. So? Well, now AJ is the 2nd coming again... his three losses forgotten or explained away. AJs best win during his current run was vs. Wallin. AJ groupies, take a deep breath.

Close fight but Hrgovic was getting ragdolled from pillar to post. He looked vulnerable.

Hrgovic won but looked terrible. Zhang lost but came out looking the stronger man. Similar fight to Ngannou Fury (though you could legit argue that Ngannou won that one).

Zhang's gastank is just atrocious and a major reason for why he fails at top level. And I don't buy the whole failing kidneys thing he supposedly had against Jerry Forrest, unless he has failing kidneys every hard fight.

Yeah that's why after every single heavy shot from Zhang, Hrgovic was looking to the haven and was lowering his hands down.
Plenty of Hrgovic jabs and shots were blocked by Zhang high guard.
I have no problem with you having different opinion, that Hrgovic won, but i have scored the fight and watch it twice, and had Zhang winning based on winning the rounds big. Boxing is not who landed the most based on compubox, but it's scored round by round, and again depends who land which shots.
And no my scoring wasn't based on Zhang land 1 big shot, Hrgovic lands 10 jabs, and i give the round to Zhang. Zhang was landing hard combos and was blocking a lot of Hrgovic shots. It's not like Hrgovic didn't land or win his rounds, but he didn't win enough.

As far as the KD goes, it was on the side of the head, and Hrgovic didn't complain at all.

I’m hearing the same thing again. “It’s not a robbery because it’s a close fight”. 7-5 is considered a close fight, but if the other fight does not have a case for 6-7 rounds, it’s a robbery. Hrgovic didn’t win more than 6 rounds = robbery

Gift decision for hrgovic. Was like Fury vs Mcdermott, just cause its close doesnt mean 1 guy didnt clearly won. Zhang won that fight.

    Just look at the highlights:

Sure Zhang had more such a moments with big shots that looked better but Hrgovic punches also landed during the entire fight.

In this fight i will never change my mind i guarantee. I only get more convinced of my first scorecard.

And regarding the KD its not legit at all. You can clearly see it here

I thought that Hrgovic won. Zhang would fight for 20 seconds of a round.

I don’t try to change your mind, but you can't change mine as well and especially not with highlights.
And im rating Hrgovic high. And didn't have a favourite before the fight.
