Zhang calls out Fury, but Fury will duck.

Even if Fury 'ducks' him, doesn't mean he wouldn't likely beat him, just that it's a risk he doesn't want.
The thing is, Fury has clearly gone into safety mode with his career, and he'll pay a price for it, but that's different to not being capable of beating these fighters.

A perfect example is Wilder 3. Fury didn't want that fight, and rightly so in that case, having been robbed and so actually having won twice, and it's always a big risk fighting Wilder. So he tried to get out of it. Did that mean he couldn't win? He ended up being forced to fight and won the fight. But we also see why he didn't want it, because it was a risky fight he took damage in.

All these people acting like Joyce is a hero for fighting Zhang, wake up. Joyce is almost forty and only recently stepped up. Fury fought Wlad at 26 years old and signed to fight Haye at 25 before that. Joyce is one of the most protected and risk-avoiding fighters EVER.

Joyce also cherry-picked Zhang after the loss versus the Croatian. He thought Zhang would gas. It backfired and then he had to rematch because he'd lost his position and they thought with all the advantages they might get across the line. There was no real choice but to rematch in his circumstances. It wasn't about 'picking difficult opponents'.

 

There can’t be a duck without a legit offer. “Calling someone out” doesn’t make a fight. Offering market value (or above) is how to make a fight if that’s what you want.

Can we mark your word that Zhang’s promoter will make such an offer?

I used to like Fury, but now i can't stand his BS and the way he carries himself of as the best yet refuses to prove it, i can't even be arsed watching any of his interviews any more.
The man has turned into what he calls his opponents, a ****ing shithouse.

 

It will be interesting to see what would happen if China puts up a huge amount of money to stage the fight in China. Would Fury do it or not? I'm talking 75-100 mil +.
