Parker was never in danger with Wilder but with Zhang he had multiple close calls. Dangerous rematch for Parker.

Yep. Parker took some big shots - can he stay standing if/when that happens again? Let's be realistic, the biggest thing that's changed is this time people won't be underestimating Parker as much. In real terms, Zhang has a few rounds to get the job done - then he gasses and hemorrhages rounds to a points loss. Parker has a very good chance - but Zhang is most definitely capable of winning by early KO.
Zhang needs to make up his mind on who he wants to fight. He has a rematch clause so he only needs to activate it and the fight is made. The last fight was 4 months ago and Parker is basically side lined until Zhang decides if he wants the rematch of not. I assume he's delaying things to get into better shape. If it does happen, I see Parker winning again. He had Parker down twice last time and couldn't finish him. Parker showed he could recover and Zhang showed he couldn't apply enough pressure in the short window Parker was hurt t capitalise on his success.
That had a lot to do with Zhang's weight imo. He had no business coming in at a career heaviest against a fast guy with decent movement and elusiveness like Parker. Against a static fighter like Joyce it didn't matter cause of the style matchup, but you can't be coming in that heavy in every fight. Even by Zhang's standards, his volume and stamina were terrible against Parker. On that note, what's this trend of all these heavyweights gaining a lot of weight? Guys like Zhang, Joyce and Bakole just keep coming in at 280+ all of a sudden.
I'm tired of rematches let's get Zhang and Parker fighting someone else and for world titles aswell so the division can progress instead of stalling all the time. Parker should get the winner of Usyk/Fury 2. Zhang should get the winner of Joshua/Dubois.
Zhang was like 300lbs in the first fight and almost had Parker knocked out around the 4th round. If he comes in lighter he’ll have more gas in the tank, can’t see him losing the rematch.
