Zhang is about 22lbs heavier than Joyce.

    Yes

The ironic thing is if the timid, gun-shy AJ we saw last time against out against Franklin had fought Zhang instead he might have had a heart attack due to the fear of getting clipped by one of Zhang's bombs

Depending on how Sheldon does tonight it might be an interesting fight to see again.

Yeah I've noticed he does that at times too. I think he does in on purpose hoping his opponent with their backs to the ropes opens up, so he can unload hard shots which would be harder to evade on the ropes. So while he is vulnerable at times, I think he's prepared and expecting to take a shot to land a shot and with his chin it's a risk worth taking.

The danger Zhang presents is he's a counter puncher unlike Parker and Dubois, he's far more likely to catch Joyce with a shot he doesn't see coming and that's when we could see Joyce's chin get cracked for the first time. Which is why I think he's come in light, I expect him to be jabbing and moving and taking far fewer risks in this fight, like in the Dubois fight. He knows late in the fight Zhang will tire and that's when the outcome of fight will likely be decided.

I'd prefer the heavier version of Joyce, at his juggernaut best.

I've never liked the idea of coming in heavy for any reason. The speed & stamina benefits far outweigh any perceived power increase in either punching or clinching imo.

If this is Zhang's heaviest, then I'm picking JJ with much more confidence now.

I don't like it either, although in Zhang's case the weight just looks like a natural result of training, not something he's artificially packed on. Zhang is just a huge guy, not just tall but really thickset as well. He's the same height as Joyce but makes Joe look kind of slim in comparison.

Lots of us were wrong. Zhang really exceeded expectations, or Joyce never met his.

    FFS, Miniq...is that a rhetorical question ?

    That's ONE STONE...a 5 % drop.

I vary by about half that amount from morning till night time.

He just wasn't as good as folks thought.

Zhang hits harder and takes a better shot.

And as for being a threat to Usyk at any stage or any weight ?

One stone is 6.3 kilos, it's not a joke weight, but that wasn't the reason for his loss.

You're a wee bit off there pigeon. A stone is closer to 6.4 kg (6.3503 to four places).

Who said it was a joke weight ?

I believe that's exactly the point I made in the post you quoted.
