Zhang vs AJ who wins?

AJ does not have the chin for those bombs, it could have the potential for a career ending clash for AJ.

 

Joyce has a granite jaw and ate BOMBS all night from PAPA Zhang. Joshua would have been stopped in the second round last night. AJ also a mug for a leftie and zero backfoot game. Not a good look against ZHANGHAI ZHILEI

 

I think Zhang wins it and that's not me overrating Zhang for his win over Joyce.

I think something mentally broke in Joshua after his loss to Ruiz, I think Ruiz took his soul and hes never been the same since.

All in all I don't think Joshua is in the best place mentally, and I think his ripe for the picking against the puncher Zhang.

 

The big difference being Joshua doesn't get hit like that repeatedly as he more to his game than plodder Joyce.

 

Rewatch the Usyk fights, Usyk was tagging Joshua with the southpaw straight left repeatedly. Even Franklin had a couple straight rights that were getting through to AJ last fight.

Obviously Zhang is no Usyk, but his hands are deceptively quick for a 6'6 280lb bohemoth, and he hits a hell of a lot harder than Usyk. Zhang's straight left has one-shot-KO'd multiple guys before, he will land that shot on AJ and I'm not sure how well AJ's chin holds up.

 

Zhang's fast bangs will get the current AJ into all kinds of trouble here I think.

AJ probably wouldn't get hit anywhere near as many times as say Joyce did last night with his better defence. But if Zhang catches AJ with the same shots that he hit Joyce with in the second round then it's an early winning night for Zhang imo.
