Easy win for Joyce with nockout in round 9.

 

Zhang has shown to be durable. His stamina might not be good but Joyce can't exploit it. Joyce is an attrition fighter not a one hitter quitter.

He's in deep trouble. Even if he makes it late fight trying to dedicate off a jab and keeping it long he won't have worked Zhang hard enough and even a tired gassed Zhang always has a killer left hand.

He came in light and couldn't do that first time the only other option I see if the roid cycle and somehow try to get in close on Zhang and STAY THERE and make it the ugliest fight you've ever seen but Zhang is big enough to clinch Joyce or use firepower to make Joyce back off.

I don't care what anyone says, Joyce would have been stopped had his fight with the Chinese Juggernaut been allowed to continue... the ref saved Joyce that day.

 

This video is so over the top and Hollywood-esque, dear lord. Why on Earth would they feature his mother as the narrator?

Anyway, Zhang will beat him again. Joyce is too slow and too one-dimensional for Zhang who is just a bad matchup for him. A durable, brutally strong, big southpaw. I know the game plan is to tire Zhang out, but he is too accurate with his punches (and Joe will keep blocking said punches with his face) that he will batter Joyce again before he runs out of gas.

 

I think that Zhang gets a stoppage before the 2nd half of the rematch. Possibly even the first couple of rounds. I really like Joe and have always been a fan, but Joe and his team made a terrible decision in taking this right away.

 

Joyce is in trouble unless he improves his speed by 600%

 

What a crap video. A Joyce suck-up vid. I like Zhang in the rematch as well though it will be closer.

 

It's a winnable fight for him despite how the first fight would suggest different.
It wasn't just the odd thing he did wrong, everything went wrong and that's unusual unless something is off with a fighter.
His punches are usually clubbing to the point you cab hear them land with a thud.
Perhaps he'd started to believe his own hype a little or had his eye on the title shot after zhang. Maybe he took zhang lightly.
Smart money would be on zhang but in a closer fight but as I said, it's winnable for joyce.
To have any chance of getting that win though, he needs huge amounts of quality southpaw sparring. Watching him circle into that straight left after most exchanges was painful to watch. Zhang was wide open to left hooks to the body throughout if only joyce stepped off to his left first.

 

People said that when Joshua immediately rematched ruiz. Same was said when. Dillian whyte went straight back in with povetkin. Both of which were worse stoppages

 

I like both Joyce and Zhang. What I do know is that the winner of that fight SHOULD GET A TITLE SHOT!
