Kabayel should win unless Zhang catches him early, it would be interesting to see how Kabayel would handle that situation. Kabayel likes to go to the body and it seems to me that he will succeed against Zhang, but we will see...
Zhang's a few steps above what Kabayel is used to, it will be interesting to see how he reacts if he gets caught. Zhang by mid rounds KO.
Not sure about this one. I've never rated Kabayel and Zhang isn't great himself but if I had to pick I'm going for Zhang.
I used to think Kabayel beats Zhang but I am less confident of that now. There were rumors that both Makhmudov and Sanchez were injured when they did fight Kabayel. Also when rewatching the Makhmudov fight Kabayel did get hit with some shots that I didn’t remember. If Zhang lands those shots it might be over. Then again Kabayel was pretty much written off before the Makhmudov fight but Kabayel was just stoic, stared Makhmudov down center ring, and executed. Also if there is any fighter most similar in style to Parker it’s Kabayel. To me it’s a 50/50 fight. But I am saying Zhang wins by KO in round 7 with a big counter shot after Kabayel tries to up the pressure in the second half of the fight. @Rumsfeld thats really cool your content will be broadcasted on DAZN. Congratulations!!
The question is whether Kabayel can mentally recover like Parker if he gets knocked down, the question is also whether Kabayel's chin can handle the same as Parker's, the fight will be great...
Lean Kabayel , if he makes the pace rather quick , uses lateral movement and some decent footwork the big Chinaman will gas later in the fight
Zhang by stoppage if he doesn't age over overnight Kabayel was almost stopped in the 2nd round by another Southpaw I think Zhang does one better and finishes the job.
I'm going for the big bang man doing a number on kabayal before the end of the 7th. I just can't see Zhang NOT clipping kabayal.
It's a tough one to call. Kabayel has good skills and he can beat you on the front or backfoot. HW boxer Nick Campbell who has sparred him says he's incredibly fit which would obviously serve him well against Big Bang. And Kaybayel is a pretty good puncher himself and he just flat-out knows how to fight. I don't read much into him getting hurt by Smakici as the Croat has a KO 90% and can crack and he cracked Kabayel with like 15-20 big shots in quick succession whilst he was hurt and I thought Kaybayel actually displayed a good beard there. And besides, Big Bang has been down before as a pro and stopped a bunch of times in the amateurs so that's a two-way street. I think Kaybayel will win but Big Bang is the much bigger man, has good skills too, fast hands for a near 300lbs man mountain, and his power is so formidable he could end the fight at any stage of the fight in the blink of an eye. If he does so I don't think it will be because of any deficiency in Kabayel's punch resistance. It will because Big Bang hits freakishly hard. Also, Big Bang turns 42 in three months time and Kaybayel is much younger at 32 y/o.
Kabayel needs to box clever and avoid Zhang early on when we know he is at his most dangerous, whilst sinking his body shots in as often as possible when the opportunities arise, come the second half of the fight Kabayel needs to up the pace when we all know Zhang fades off ,however he still needs to box clever. Its a good match up this fight and it’s a fight Kabayel can win, let’s see .
Zhang's gas tank is bad, but he was still able to drop Parker in round 8, and was still hurting Hrgovic late in their fight. So hit output drops off hard, but the power is still there. Kabayel will have to fight smart the whole fight and dig to the body. Great fight, I'm leaning toward Zhang mid KO.
