Please provide links to all these people who have said Joyce hits harder than Wilder because I haven't seen it.

Why don't you use your real account to spam threads with your nonsense?

Really impressed by Zhang's adaptation. He was shelling up and only punching when he had a really good chance to land flush (unlike the Hrgovic fight where he was wasting shots). Was mixing it up with some arm punches from the high guard in earlier rounds, but changed it up to target the eye in rounds 4-6.

Don't really think Zhang was gassed, he did take it slow in round 5, but I think that was to hit him with the 5-6 meaningful lefts in the 6th. He was throwing a similar punch volume every round except 6, where the fight was stopped. If anything I thought Joe looked exhausted.

You didnt say that the other day - how you change your opinions, Zhang outlassed your hyped boy - it wasnt just "injury to the eye" his face was ****ing smashed in - his life was in the danger.

Zhang outclassed Joyce, Hrgovic was outfighter in Zhang fight but Joyce went in, that is low ring IQ. And that was from the this forums supposed nb.1 heavyweight.

Zhang started dropping his hands in the 4th and 5th. It´s typical of him as relying on that high guard can be taxing on ones arms. Especially when you are always ready to launch counters. You have to be a bit tensed up to do so, so fatigue sets in relatively fast.

But I agree that Joyce looked tired. He was letting his hands go while barely landing anything, while getting hit with head snapping counters. That will take the steam out of anyone.

My opinion hasn't changed you either are making this up to sound good or you've confused me for one of the other bombers like Brixton Bomber or Brown bomber, that tends to happen a lot.

Zhang paced himself well in this fight so he was fresher than he normally is by the mid rounds. It helps that Joyce fought with a single digit ring IQ. Zhang could fight at his own pace for large parts of the contest. I do think he would have tired more down the stretch, though. Enough for Joyce to take over? Who knows. Whilst Zhang did look composed in rounds 5 and 6, his shots were having less effect. He hurt Joyce badly in round 2. I've never seen Joyce react to getting hit like he did in that round. He was also hurt in rounds 3 and 4. Zhang was landing at will more and more in rounds 5 and 6, but Joyce seemed to take them better, so maybe Zhang's power was waning as his stamina did.

The damage was done, he was clever and experienced. Joyce knows now that bullying everyone is not possible, he will have to box and use his brain, a disciplined gameplan and he can Beat Zhang, nothing wrong with swallowing his pride.

With no vision in one eye, Joyce would have been getting mangled. He would have to gone from gear 1 to 5 just like to that to stop Zhang, very hard to do, zhang is huge. Zhang miggt be tiring but was still fighting smartly and sharp as ever.

Definitely. The fight was rightfully stopped. Joe would have got twatted with his eye the way it was if it was allowed to continue. If they rematch and Joyce can protect his eye, maybe he will do better down the stretch. It's a pity the fight didn't get into the second half as most people believe this is the point in the fight were Joyce would have more success. Joe's got no one to blame, but himself for that. His complete lack of dealing with the left hand was appalling for a world class fighter.

Joyce would have to drill that gut and fight like a smaller man, minimising the target, money in the bank, yeh ite crazy to think that weigh but Zhang is quite indomnitable, Fury and Uysk would spin him and everyting, not stand there. Zhang has very quick hands for such a big lump whose old in the fught game aswell, hes the sort of bloke who could be dangerous in the first 3 rounds in his 60s lol.

Rightfully stopped, indeed. The doctor made a compromise and let him continue after the previous round, so Joyce and hist team should've acted wisely in his strategy, but...
