Nonsense. Lost the fight convincingly!! His output was shocking....especially the last 4 rounds! I had it to Parker by 9-3. Factor in the 2 knock downs and it was still a clear win.....Zhang is done!!
Nah, Zhang followed Parker around the ring and barely commited, yet still gassed by round 6. He has himself to blame. It's as if he thought the 2 knockdowns would be enough
****. One thread about AJ-Ngannou being a fix and now this one. The nut jobs are out swinging it here.
The only thing I can think of is that Zhang is 40 and his gas tank is completely gone which is why he barely threw anything. A smaller, quicker target that can dodge him unfortunately was too much for him. Zhang is more effective against bigger opposition who he can tag easily.
Parker won easily and it would've been a landslide bar the knockdowns. Regards Zhang. I said it before the fight. He's nearly 41yr old and time waits for nobody.
You can’t be that inactive in a fight and expect to win. I think the result was very clear. Parker won the majority of the rounds with Zhang having solid moments and two KDs. Knockdowns are simply not enough to win a fight though.
You have to actually throw punches to win a fight, he did nothing other than score 2 flash knockdowns. You have no clue how to score a fight, go back to bed lad. Lol
I like both guys and was very slightly hoping for a Zhang win...he's 41 so not much time left. It looked like that was going to happen. Zhang won the first three rounds, scoring a knock down in the third, so he was well on his well on his way, 30 - 26. But then he stopped doing anything, and lost the next four rounds , 66 - 66 even. Zhang won round eight on the strength of a knockdown, giving him the lead, 76 - 74. He did nothing more for the rest of the fight, losing the last four rounds for a final score of 112 -114. I don't know why anyone who watched the fight could score it any differently than this. An easy to score 8 - 4 for Parker. With the two KDs this gives 114-112, and one of the judges scored it that way. The only dubious round IMO was round 2, which was close. One judge gave it to Parker for a score of 115-111 The third judge scored like myself except for giving one of my Parker rounds to Zhang, for a score of 113 -113. IMO, 114-112 was the correct score. A bit disappointing since Zhang made no attempt to end things on the two occasions he had Parker hurt.
