Zhang was robbed AGAIN

I hope you mean that someone broke into his hotel room and robbed Zhang of his goods. You can't be speaking about the Parker fight. Please tell me it's not the Parker fight.

 

Including the two knockdowns, Zhang would have had to win six rounds to win the fight 114-112. If he won five rounds it would have been a 113-113 draw. I cannot find a way to give Zhang six rounds in the fight. There is no way he won.

 

Well he didnt win early rounds. He did nothing in 1st and 2nd. Had him losimg with 115-111

 

I was just impressed by how many punches Zhang threw. For a second, I thought Roman Gonzalez just got huge and was filling in for Zhang. But that can't happen, right?

Zhang had more standout rounds but still lost more rounds overall due to his limited punch output and suspect stamina, for reference Zhang landed 0 punches in the 12th round vs Parker.

 

I think besides the knockdown rounds the only other round I gave Zhang was the first.

Even the 2nd knockdown round, Parker won 2mins30 of the round....I think it's bull**** it should be a 10-8 round, should be a 9-9 round.

 

I just don’t understand why they have to fight again. It’s like Trump vs Biden, the rematch nodody wants.

I'm glad somebody made this point. A fighter should NOT get an automatic 10-8 round if he scores a KD, especially a flash KD. There's more to a round than what happens in several seconds during a KD. Put another way, without the KD Parker was on his way to a solid 10-9 round. How does one weak KD flip the scoring 3 full points to 10-8 Zhang?? 9-9 (or 10-10) even round is fair. At best 10-9 Zhang.

No, Parker didn`t land much that round, just a few crisp shots, it was a cagey fight, Parker won with spurts and flurries.

 

I Guess you count points like corrupted judges from Fury vs Wilder 1 when Draw was Fury's clear win.

 

I like Zhang but he did virtually nothing apart from the 2 flash knockdowns & threw the fight away by hardly throwing any punches in the championship rounds.

Judging needs to be looked at and rules re-applied, more the rules tbh as it stands it's flawed.
