In the first fight with Joyce, he was an 11-1 underdog.

Tonight, he just scored the KO of the year against an iron-chined fighter. Nakatani's KO was nice, but not this significant.

And he basically carried the Heavyweight division on his back this year.

I hope he get to fight for a title later this year or next year. He deserve it.

DEFINITELY KO if the year. He absolutely DROPPED a guy with a Mercer like chin. Zhang proved he’s a top 5 puncher in the sport imo. He also ‘Walked off’ with it too :D As soon as he landed that shot he knew. Game over

I dont think its on Mercers level. Mercer faced the Duke and Lennox and stayed on his feet.

I'm gutted for Joyce but ecstatic for Zhang. Big Bang right on the chin, and I don't care if its Fury or Usyk, they would have been KTFO with that shot.

Fury is about to beat another HW champion in 5 weeks. He is HW of the year by default and he will win the WBC ridyah champion belt.

The KO is hard to watch, especially more so given what was at stake for Big Joe. It was a must win for him after losing the first fight and he's now got to work his way right back up at 38 years of age coming off back to back stoppage defeats and a devastating confidence shattering KO loss tonight.

It's not KO of the year if the mug doesn't get slept.

Your hero was called out by Zhang. Lol He’ll leave that matter to his loudmouth father who’ll probably accuse Zhang of steroids and say “He hasn’t earned it” lol

    But Ngannou has

Zhang was the bookmaker’s favourite going into the fight.

Not sure how that qualifies as “upset of the year.”

CRAZY!!! I was thinking about this before the fight tonight. Before the first fight I shook my head at those odds.

He may have been, bookies out here in Australia had him at 5-1 but I never thought it was a big upset.

Joe Joyce is the most overrated fighter in the sport.

You're an overrated poster. Joyce is top 5 at the very least.

    Pfft, sure he is.

Absolute mug. 38 years old coming off 2 losses by stoppage. He’s a stepping stone and that is all he is. He’s as slow as wet concrete and his chin has now been exposed.

Has been overhyped from day one.
