This would be interesting, but Beyonce wilder will never take. Could Zhang take a wilder right hand? I may have to go with Wilder here but could go either way.
I like Zhang a lot and he wins every round against Wilder comfortably...until that atomic bomb of a right hand connects. See it going the same way as the Ortiz fights although I rate Zhang higher than Ortiz. His feet are slow and he won't evade Wilder's right for long IMO.
I really find it utterly baffling how so many ignore the fact The Dosser is at the very least just as susceptible of getting KTFO by a huge puncher if they connect on that chin of his too. Romanov hurt him everytime he grazed his chin and he even had his legs dancing to two different genres of music at the same time and doing a chicken dance before he dropped him and the ref dived in to save him from being brutally knocked out Harold Sconiers dropped him heavily and would've knocked his ass out had the bell not come to his rescue. Eric Molina wobbled him. Belly bounced him up and down off the canvas like a yo-yo. The PBC doctor had to give him a time out for his head to clear against Ortiz. You can argue he's faster than Zhang but he sure as hell ain't near as slick or skillful as him and I'm very confident Zhang would put him to sleep as soon as he connected with a flush bomb.
Hard to tell, because Zhang gets tired in 5-6 rounds and this can result him being knocked out even that he'll be leading on points and probably with some good damage over Wilder. Interesting fight to see, but I doubt we'll do.
Easy money! Zhang would drop Wilder with the first few clean shots. Wilder was KOd by Fury for Heavens sake.
Wilder by KO you would think but his inactivity is abit of a worry. The question is.. Is his chin shot? Remember before Fury.. Wilder was never knocked down.
Wilder gets splattered by the first straight left Sheldon lands and crumples in a dribbly heap of his own urine with his eyes rolling up at the ceiling lights.
I predict another fight where Zhang is underestimated going into it and he overperforms, if not pulling off an upset. I'd back him to win after an exciting few rounds personally. Fury was able to put Wilder down by round 3 twice, and Fury is not a big puncher. The only thing that gives me doubt is we haven't really seen Zhang's chin tested, so in a contest that comes down to who lands first that could be a big factor. But even with that in mind I'd still back him, he's got the better guard, better punching technique and sneakier punch.
Zhang will go for the early knockout and he has every chance of getting it, if it goes beyond 5 rounds then Wilder is the favourite.
Got knocked down by Scroniers and wrongly had a flash KD by Nicholls ruled a slip. Also keep in mind Wilder was protected from fighting the bigger punchers in the divison.
I don't know how people can rate Wilder as chinny. He had his eardrum ruptured by a near 20 stone man and stayed upright till the bitter end. I'm ecstatic for Zhang but while Wilder may be able to take some of his shots, Zhang may only be able to take one.
