Janibek looks about 3 levels above the rest of the division.

    Quick stoppage.

He likely would have got a legit stoppage anyway, but the referee went in a bit too soon.

    Congrats to Janibek! :ggg

Paul Butler, Jermell Charlo and Vincenzo Gualtieri are worse than bums and they're worse than quitters. They're time wasters. Shameful efforts.

Normally I'd agree, but he was asking for it with the lack of activity and interest in engaging.

Then again I bet on Alimkhanuly to end this before 9.5, so I may be a bit biased

Normally I'd say the stoppage was a littler early but, Gualtieri didn't really have any success at any part of the fight.

Zhanibek now the established top dog at middleweight, can't wait to see him reign over this division. Let's send old man Lara to the retirement home and have a proper undisputed fight with Adames.

He's hitting him on the gloves and still knocking him around the ring. Gualtieri's championship level was like 3 tiers below, was hoping for at least some kind of competitiveness.

Not a good stoppage, but that was a total outclassing. Division has a new #1. I wonder would Adames fight him.

That was about as competitive as expected.

I did want to see him get dropped and it was coming, but Gualtieri wanted out and gave ref excuse to step in.

Middleweight is so weak right now. 154 and 168 draining the talent from each other and 147 and 160.
