It is not so easy to dance circles around a southpaw. Because you cant use your jab to do so.

I think Fury wins, basically because Zhang's gass tank is too small. But I dont think that tyson dancing circles around a helpless zhang would be the way of that fight. Zhang is a very dangerous fighter, no matter how you plan your fight, you better are really carefull. At least the first 5 rounds.

It's an interesting fight, but Zhang's weaknesses, speed and stamina, are Fury's strengths.
If Fury has slowed a bit and gets sloppy, maybe Zhang could get to him, but I would expect Fury to outbox him comfortably unless he's declined significantly lately.

Big Bang can put Belly to sleep with the chicken chow mein straight left or the crispy duck pancake right hook

Zhang barely survived Hrgovic. Zhang put the smaller nobody Jerry Forrest three times in a knockdown and still ended with a draw fight. What Zhang did was win over an older overhyped fighter. At this point, he just talks because he has nothing else to do - a rematch with Joyce is coming, so his chance of facing Fury is almost gone. Where was he just a few years back challenging any bigger name?

I was lucky enough to be very close to ring side at the Zhang v Joyce clash. He has very heavy hands, you could hear and feel those lefts quickly dismantle Joe's alleged iron resistance. Say what you like about Fury, he would not fair well. He is not anywhere near the fighter he was against Wilder and Zhang is a better boxer than Wilder. I see Zhang taking him out before 8. Fury's biggest problem here is his dirty lean on tactics just won't work here.

Fury would not take the fight, but if it did happen, Fury should be able to win. Hrgovic managed to squeak by (for the record I scored that fight for Zhang) Fury would be able to do a better job than Hrgovic to get a more solid decision.

Big Bang was ill against Jerry Forrest but he dropped him x 3 and hurt him with grazing shots. The next big thing Jared Anderson might have got Forrest out of there early but he had to tee off on him with like 1000 shots to do so and he didn't drop him once IIRC.

Let's not act like Belly hasn't had more than his share of subpar performances or been hurt or dropped multiple times, with the exception of The Dosser, all against light punchers.

Bit of trivia. Big Bang has fought some of the toughest most iron-jawed men in the HW division in Hrgovic, Joyce and Rudenko

I'd be interested in seeing Big Bang vs Bakole

People always seem to disregard or not realize the context of the Forrest situation. The fact that he managed to knock him down three times in the first three rounds, and as far as I know Forrest isn't exactly an easy guy to get down, then survive seven more rounds while his body was failing him without even going down once shouldn't be used to discredit him. If anything, it oughta show just how tough the guy is.

I do feel like if Zhang and Fury met in the ring that the most likely outcome is Fury winning on points, assuming he realizes the risk and fights with the necessary caution the whole time. But he wouldn't be able to get careless once cause Zhang would not miss out on the opportunity to make him pay for it. Put Zhang in Wilder's place any of the four times he got Fury down and I guarantee he'd follow it up with much more success. For one thing, he'd be measured in his next moves, not swinging away like a maniac, and Fury wouldn't be able to use his leaning on tactics to buy extra recovery time since Zhang is such a big dude.

Just out of curiosity, how would you see Zhang vs. some of the other "top guys" going? Only one I have a strong opinion on is Wilder, who I think Zhang stands a good chance of getting out by the middle rounds. This is the same guy who Fury knocked down by round three on two different occasions, and Fury ain't exactly known as a big puncher.

Yes, I believe his medical condition was legit and the detailed account a member of his team gave was very convincing.

Belly would rightfully start as favourite but Big Bang is deceptively fast and sneaky and carries huge power in both hands and he's definitely capable of knocking Belly out.

I think he's a very dangerous proposition for anyone. He might struggle against certain styles, and age is obviously an issue, but he's already upset Big Joe and many had him beating Hrgovic too so he's a threat to all the top boys. Many act like The Dosser would KO him as soon as he landed but Big Bang is much more skilled, fundamentally sound, and crafty than him and I genuinely believe The Dosser's mandible section couldn't withstand a flush shot from him.
