Zhilei Zhang to fight Agit Kabayel for WBC Interim Title, Joshua eligible to fight Winner.

i know im biased but makhmudov and zhang are worlds apart skill wise

 

Yeah but their footspeed is about the same. Zhang has a bad gas tank too

 

Emperor Zhang is going to Shatter Kabayel’s Chin. Brutally.

 

Kabayel dodges Bakole, only to have to fight Zhang. That’s kind of funny. Dodge one dangerous ****er, only to have to fight another. Admittedly, Bakole looks like he’s dangerous for longer than Zhang, but still. Same basic formula. Hard hitting tank.

I don’t see AJ getting past Kabayel or Zhang. Kabayel frustrates him and wins a decision. Zhang knocks his head off.

Now, can Zhang get past Kabayel? Maybe. Zhang is dangerous as hell for like 4-5 rounds. But if it goes beyond that, forget about it.

 

but Zhang's hands are much faster, his fundamentals much better, and he doesn't telegraph anywhere near as much as Makhmudov. Not to mention he has much better boxing IQ and knows how to set traps.

 

Zhang doesn't have fast feet. Parker doesn't even have feet as fast as Kabayel and he could stay away, and he's a great body puncher. I don't like Zhangs chances here despite his top tier power and being a solid counter puncher

 

Kabayel got this imo,we all know about Zhang being more dangerous in the first half of the fight before tailing off,this with Kabayels good body work should give him the win as long as he can keep out of harms way whilst Zhang is at his most dangerous .

 

Well Parker fought Zhang by staying on his bike and potshotting at him, which is not Kabayel's style. I also think Parker is faster than Kabayel, and more importantly much more proven. I don't know how exactly Kabayel intends to fight, but if he fights like he usually does and stays in range he's going to get caught. He'll have to box on the backfoot while evading Zhang for the first half of the fight, and I don't know if he's elusive enough to do that. If he does then he'll have a great chance of winning. I'm a bit worried for Zhang, even though I think he'll get it done in the first few rounds.

 

He still caught a cautious , defensively responsible Parker with knockdowns. Eventually Kabayel will have to get within range and that's when I'd expect Zhang to slip those counters in.

Exciting match up, and tbh far more challenging for Kabayel than Bakole would be.

 

Parker was moving to his left like a dumbass the whole fight. Kabayel has better feet than Parker imo, I expect him to beat Zhang by decision and dominate down the stretch. Could be wrong but Zhang is just a danger first half and Kabayel won't let him set his feet

 

Zhang is ancient, so he should be losing to all of these younger men.

 

I don't think Kabayel has every been down, but I've seen him buzzed before and is hittable. Zhang's gas tank is straight ass, but he still had the power to put down Parker somewhat late in their fight. Good fight. If Kabayel stays defensively responsible, he could pull it off.

 

I truly dont get the overhyping of kabayel. he only exposed hypejobs like makhmudov which was expected of me, and an injured frank sanchez. thats that. If zhang doenst get old overnight he will get rid of him in 5 rounds easy

 

Kabayel is overrated. No European boxer with the exception of the UK and Ukraine will ever be on top of this sport in these days. The fact the he is even in some rankings and gets fights against proven fighters shows the weakness of the division.
