Chisora hasn't stopped anyone since Price in 4 in 2019 so he's unlikely to stop Zhang. Pulev and Washington were 41 and he failed to stop them. Kabayel beat Zhang well but he'd have beaten a 41 year old Chisora more easily I'd wager. Zhang isn't historically bad against pressure fighters: he'd have fought Kuzmin in 2019 if not for the latter's pullout and he handled Joyce.

Chisora hasn't been getting favourable scorecards from the judges in his last three fights, despite not fighting big names (beat Washington by 3, Joyce by 2 and Wallin by 6 when fans on Boxrec had him beating Washington by 4, Joyce by 4 and Wallin by 10). If Zhang wins his career as a contender can continue, so he probably has more upside than a Chisora who has promised to retire. I think Zhang's signed with Queensbury or at least he was and could be again, so Warren likely wants Zhang to win.

Zhang's a hard hitting southpaw counter puncher which isn't a good style for Chisora, who said he'd never fight Ortiz and was countered hard to stoppages by Haye and Whyte. Chisora's very durable but Parker had him down x3 in 2021, Whyte put him out cold in 2018, Fury beat him down in 10 twice, Haye dropped and stopped him in 5. Even at his advanced age, Zhang is among the biggest puncher's Chisora's ever fought, maybe the biggest and Chisora's only 6 months-ish younger. If Zhang falls off a cliff after 3-4 rounds Chisora could outwork him or get a draw, Zhang only had 5 decent/good rounds in him vs Parker in March 2024, albeit a prime Parker. And Chisora doesn't have a great engine himself these days.

Chisora's record as the underdog is 5 wins, 11 losses and he also lost as favourite to Fury 1 and Kabayel. Even though he's been upsetting the odds of late (Pulev, Joyce, Wallin), his career as a whole suggests he's likely to lose this.

Terrible fight for Chisora. I think Zhang will take him out by round 3. I don’t see this fight happening.

    Great fight.

Could go either way but I think Zhang wins this by KO, Chisora and Kabayel are kind of similar except that Kabayel is significantly a better body puncher. Also, Zhang will have learnt from the Kabayel fight and he has either knocked down or knocked out his opponent in every fight he's had, even in those fights he lost.

I do think Zhang will KO Chisora early enough, but if it goes long Chisora does have a great chance as Zhang's gastank is so poor.

Zhang will brutalise him; people are (rightfully) pointing out Zhang's questionable gas tank, but have you seen Chisora lately? His gas tank is pretty poor too; he will come out strongly early on but as the fight wears on he will stay on the ropes throwing occasional wild salvos. Even in the unlikely event Zhang doesn't get him out early, the fight will most likely devolve into a low output, sloppy affair, with Zhang doing enough to win on the cards.

It's a good fight with 2 guys of a similar age. I favor Zhang 70/30.

A lot of people are talking about how bad Zhang's tank is, which is true, but it's worth mentioning how abysmal Chisora's is too. He has to take VERY long breaks after a volley and often has to lay on the ropes or corner to recuperate. It might be a very low-volume fight that ends when one of them inevitably gasses out within 6 rounds and get clipped.
I'd say Zhang has the better chin and will likely survive Chisora's assault and get the KO around 5... or both gas out in like 2 rounds and it goes to a very boring decision haha.

Chisora will be lucky if he makes it out of the first round.

Chisoras gotta stop winning these kind of fights eventually, right?

I'll watch any Chisora fight. You know what you're going to get with him.

    I'm happy for this fight.
If Zhang can destroy him it will be a wonderful thing.
Then on to Zhang v Whyte next year maybe.
It would be nice if Zhang could get a rematch with Parker too and KO him this time.
It's just a crying shame we never got Zhang v AJ but there was zero chance of that after Zhang destroyed Joyce.

Chisora ain't signing up to that fight...he will talk shite but doesn't want No50 him getting stretchered out of the stadium.
Chisora is a bully he will want a KO ible light puncher to finish on a high.
Zhang can KO with short punches as Chisora throws looping hay makers

My head says Zhang inside 4.
But a part of me expects Del Boy to weather he storm, TKO an exhausted Zhang in round 8 or 9, decide he's in the best shape of his life and just needs one more fight, just one more....

    Zhang by early KO.

Or possibly Chisora by UD if he survives the early rounds.
