He did, but Zhang looked especially huge! I was a bit surprised by just how big he looked.

My son watched the first Zhang fight and wants to see the rematch now. He was ending himself at Zhang's "chat sh*t, get Zhanged" patter. Amazing what entertains 15-year-olds!

Very disappointed in Noakes' opponent. Another opponent on short-notice it looks like. BoxRec only updated with the opponent a few days ago. I wish Noakes was a bit more active this year, I wonder if he had an injury. I reckon that Gavin Gwynne may vacate the British Title soon so hopefully Warren can make Noakes vs Chamberlain next year for the British Title.

Yeah, not the best opponent. I could be wrong, but I think I heard somewhere that Sam has had issues with his hands. This wouldn’t be a surprise to me as he punches so hard, it’s bound to take a toll on them.

Next fight must be a move towards the British.

Yeah he does, 100% KO percentage. I'm pretty confident he beats Chamberlain too. Noakes already has the Commonwealth Title but he won't be defending it on September 23.

Pierce O'Leary has a good test against Kane Gardner who beat Conah Walker last time out, although I do think Walker is more suited to 147 than 140.

Moses Itauma has a disappointing opponent considering what he has been facing. He is facing a cruiserweight / bridgerweight essentially.

Yeah, that’s a decent fight for Big Bang O’Leary. I don’t mind them taking the level down slightly for a fight or 2 with Itauma. There’s no hurry and for TV purposes they need to get him a fun KO as the last guy barely threw a punch, but was very sturdy.

I don’t know why Zack Parker is on this - they are only going to draft in an absolute euro trash. I would rather they let that fun prospect banger, Aloyes Junior on the TV section against someone like Darryl Sharpe, who will give him a decent run.

Joe Joyce is the outsider with the Bookmakers.

Needs to do a CEJ and redeem himself or he is in a 50/50 with Big Fraze next.

I remember the British Forum giving Hearn criticism for inserting a rematch clause for a non-title fight between Whyte and Povetkin, allowing Whyte to stay as mandatory once he won the rematch.

Warren has done the same with Joyce against Zhang yet he has received no criticism?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it by the way, just pointing out an inconsistency.

    The agenda!!!

Actually you'll find a lot of the criticism aimed at Hearn was down to how he marketed the fight

It was relentlessly advertised as the winner takes all etc

It also wasn't exactly a non title fight now was it

Which was a complete lie by Hearn as he fully expected Whyte to win initially

Agreed, this would have been perfect card and platform for noakes vs chamberlain.

Is similar to Sharp vs Barrett / Cacace a couple of years back which we never got to see

I bet for Joyce win by stoppage and for me it is kind of serious money. I have to say I like Zhang but I gambled for Joyce. His tactics terrible. He talks highly of Salas but what did he do for this terrible tactics? It was crazy. I think Joyce cannot be any worse than that and can be a lot better very easily, and this is te reason.

What is he going to do different mate? I really hope he does but his only hope is to keep going and outlast a guy who beat him to the punch last time. Maybe work on his speed in training?

Or maybe dont move to the right when facing a southpaw? Seems an adjustment that isn't out of the realms of possibilty?
