Going Zhang again. Joyce still thought he could block punches with his head at 37 so I doubt he's changing his style at this stage. Happy to be proved wrong.

 

I think he would if he could but he can't. Leopards and spots mate. Not saying he wont win though. Main thing is he was beaten to the punch last time. Traditional punchers chance. Id go 60 40 Zhang in the hope im wrong cos like everybody else I like Joyce.
BUT looking at the bright side if Zhang gets a 2nd win a fight between him and Tyson Fury would look a bit better than if Joe got revenge and got the fury fight.

 

It was frightening how easy he was to hit that night, Zhang was teeing off like he was working the bags. Would really like Joyce to win this one but he has to have a different style and incorporate some kind of movement

 

I think Big Joe will right the wrong this time around and stop Zhang down the stretch.

Yes it's very rare to see a decent fight on non PPV these days.

Really like Joe and want him to win but just can't see it. Joe's style is that he's big and tough. But Zhang is bigger and toucher, with faster hands.
If Joe can survive to later rounds and Zhang gasses it would be the only way I can see him getting a win

If Joyce remains in a straight line again, then Zhang will just pepper him again.

Joyce requires footwork AND head movement, none of this "I'm the Juggernaut, my chin is solid, pop away all you like" BS. Can he change his style?

Only question mark with Zhang is his stamina from R9 - R12.

I agree, he’ll have to stop blocking shots with his face. I’ve said it since day one with him but people genuinely thought like Eubank he couldn’t be hurt, grown men saying this not little 6 year old lads who believe in super powers haha.

He may adopt a more Joe Gallagher type guard to stop his face swelling up and then get at him late. That’s my theory, I doubt it but I’m hoping he wins so I was being optimistic.

Looking forward to this. Got a feeling Joyce is going to turn this around, story similar to Smith-Eubank II.

In that rematch, Eubank showed why he was favourite first time around. Think Joyce will do the same.

Eubank beat what was infront of him. A weightdrained, injured Smith. Also took him 10 rounds to stop on his feet don’t forget. That wasn’t impressive.
What i agree will 100% be the same is at 1-1 there will no thought of a rematch which is out of order.

 

Ive changed my pick to a close Joyce points win. His game plan wont have changed cos it can't. Hell hope to outlast Zhang down the stretch and get a shot at Usyk, as he will know for sure hes no chance with Fury.
