Has anyone seen Joyce eye close up. I know he's had scar to the side but he seems to have some lasting damage underneath his left eye I've never noticed before.. Puffy and scarrd. Not sure how much of adjustment he can make defensively but he will need to work zhangs early and avoid damage.
No amount of weight can make up for the lack of head movement and Joyce defending punches with his face. Can't see zhang missing with that left hand again and winning by stoppage.
Rangey southpaws are the worst to fight and JJ looked lost in the first, it was as tho his team had done no prep at all for Zhang. This is a hard task for Joe and ZZ will be bang up for this
Surprised by the Joe Joyce odds. He should be favourite. Granted Joyce struggled against his southpaw style and quicker hands. But how fought like a moron. He’ll be more careful this time, a bit like Dubois fight. I don’t think Zhang beat Hrgovic - this is a common misperception. He rocked him in 2-3 rounds but Hrgovic outworked him in majority of the rounds and Zhang was knackered at the end. Joyce will start to take over from 6 onwards. He’s limited but he is a machine

It's more obvious than Dillian Whyte failing a drug test to tell the truth. It's mental just how naive people are even in this thread to what the body can naturally do. Personally, I don't see anything suspicious about the weight gain. He's 10lbs heavier than his previous heaviest, which is nothing when you weight as much as he does. It's not like he's never fought above 255lbs then has suddenly added 25lbs. Half of that will be weight he lost to come in lighter for the first fight, the rest will be just eating more calories.
If joyce can avoid taking too much punishment first 6 rounds he should then be able to turn up the heat down the stretch. Or so I would have said without an extra 2 stone on him. He is giving away that advantage somewhat now.... If he engages too early it can only be same again he should have just swerved the rematch and gone for a different route. Being brave whilst admirabe doesn't get you to the top in this division. Ask fury.
